This walk starts out from Piazza della Vittoria, next to the Town Hall at Bagno a Ripoli. From here take Via Matteotti and Via 1¡ Maggio to reach Via Roma. The Oratory of San Nicol˜ di Bari can be found on the corner between Via 1¡ Maggio and Via Roma. Retrace your steps, climbing up the hill along Via Enriquez Agnoletti and from there up Via Torta that leads directly to Baroncelli. The sixteenth century facade of Villa di Crocicchio Crocicchio overlooks the widening in the road. The slope up to the right takes you to the Church of San Tommaso. Keep walking along Via di Baroncelli until you come to the junction with Via di Ritortoli in the valley of Rio Torto, then take the first turning into Via della Petrosa and from here the gentle slope up towards Poggio Baronti.

Keep to the left and then take the second turning on the right in the direction of Ponte a Ema, along Via del Carota. The road soon gives onto views over the Valley of Rio di Rimezzano and passes close by the ancient building of Villa Le Tavernucole before reaching the Oratory of Santa Caterina delle Ruote at Rimezzano. Take the narrow track on the left that runs alongside the stream. A little further on, the path starts to rise steeply again as it nears Villa Pedriali. Turn right in the direction of Antella at the top of the hill. The stony white cart-track runs downhill from Poggio ai Grilli and takes you to the farm of Ellera I. After a righthand bend, take the underpass beneath the Motorway to reach Via dell'Antella and turn left for Piazza Ubaldino Peruzzi, right in the centre of the small town of Antella.
